These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WatchFor mobile application, website, notifications, AI agents, watcher requests, chat features, integrations, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By creating an account, signing in, accepting these Terms, or using WatchFor, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not sign up or use WatchFor.

1.    What WatchFor Does

WatchFor is a social and AI-assisted awareness application that allows users to create requests asking trusted people, groups, or AI agents to watch for something important. Examples include watching for:

• A loved one’s safety, wellbeing, location-related concern, or urgent situation
• A product or service based on price, availability, timing, or location
• A thing such as a pet, home, property, mail, package, or delivery
• Information such as news, events, sports scores, stock prices, public announcements, or topics of interest
• Signals detected by AI agents, supported APIs, online sources, or authorized connected systems

WatchFor is intended to help users stay aware of important signals. It does not guarantee that every event will be found, detected, confirmed, reported, or any request is responded.

2.    Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a WatchFor account. By using WatchFor, you confirm that:

• You are legally able to agree to these Terms.
• You will use WatchFor only for lawful, respectful, and authorized purposes.
• You will not use WatchFor to harass, stalk, threaten, unlawfully monitor, exploit, or invade the privacy of any person.

If you use WatchFor on behalf of a company, organization, group, or community, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

3.    Account Registration and Security

You may sign up or sign in using phone number verification and one-time password/one-time code (OTP) authentication. WatchFor may use your phone number to verify your identity, secure your account, support account recovery, and allow you to access the Services. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Keeping your login credentials secure
• Maintaining control of your phone number, device, and account access
• All activity that occurs under your account

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4.    User Profile and Settings

WatchFor may allow you to create and manage a profile, including your name, profile photo, contact information, language preferences, notification preferences, privacy settings, linked accounts, blocked users, and other app settings. You are responsible for keeping your profile information true, accurate and current.

5.    SMS Verification and OTP Messages

When you sign up, sign in, change your phone number, recover your account, or verify your identity using a phone number, WatchFor may send you a one-time SMS text message containing a verification code or security code. By providing your phone number and requesting a verification code, you consent to receive one-time transactional SMS messages from WatchFor for account verification, authentication, security, and account access purposes. Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your sign-up, sign-in, and account activity.

To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP at any time. If you reply with STOP, you may be unable to sign in or use phone-number-based features unless you use another supported sign-in method. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS verification messages are transactional and are not marketing or promotional messages. 6.    Human Watchers

WatchFor allows you to add people manually to the app, or from your phone contacts, or other permitted sources as potential watchers. A “watcher” may be:

• An individual person
• A public group where watchers may see each other’s responses
• A private group where watchers do not see each other’s responses
• A person who joins through a shared request link, if enabled

You are responsible for making sure that the people you add or invite are appropriate for the request and that your use of WatchFor respects their privacy and consent. You should not add, invite, or involve anyone in a WatchFor request in a misleading, abusive, unwanted, or unlawful manner.

7.    AI Agents

WatchFor may provide AI agents created by WatchFor, Inc. or by third-party providers. AI agents may help watch information, events, prices, product availability, service availability, online content, connected data sources, camera/video feeds, or other supported signals. AI agents may respond to your requests in a chat-like format and may appear as watchers in the app. You understand and agree with that:

• AI agents may make mistakes.
• AI agents may miss events.
• AI agents may generate false alerts.
• AI responses may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.
• AI agents should not be relied upon as the sole source for emergency, medical, legal, financial, safety, or critical decisions.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated information before acting on it.

8.    WatchFor Requests

A WatchFor request may include information such as:

• The person, product, service, thing, news topic, event, location, or signal to watch for
• Reason for the request
• Urgency level
• Date, Time, location, or source to watch
• Additional details
• Selected watchers such as people or AI agents you added to your lists

You are responsible for the content and accuracy of your requests. You agree not to create requests that are unlawful, deceptive, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, privacy-invasive, or unsafe.

9.    Responses, Chats, and Attention Tags

Watchers may accept, ignore, or respond to WatchFor requests. Responses may appear in individual chats, public group chats, private group response views, or AI agent chat experiences. Attention tags may be used to highlight urgent or important observations, such as safety concerns, theft, delivery issues, or other priority events. Attention tags are informational only. They do not guarantee emergency response, verification, or action by WatchFor.

10.     Shared Links and External Communities

WatchFor may allow users to generate request links and share them through external channels such as SMS, email, WhatsApp, social media, or community platforms. If you share a WatchFor request link, you are responsible for:

• Choosing appropriate recipients
• Understanding that recipients may forward or share the link depending on settings
• Avoiding disclosure of sensitive personal information unless necessary and authorized
• Complying with laws and platform rules

WatchFor is not responsible for how third parties use, forward, screenshot, or disclose request information after you share it outside the app.

11.     Contacts and Invitations

If you allow WatchFor to access your phone contacts, WatchFor may use contact information to help you identify, invite, and manage watchers. You must not use WatchFor invitations or messages to spam, harass, impersonate, deceive, or contact people who do not want to receive requests. Message and data rates may apply to SMS or other communications.

12.     Notifications

WatchFor may send push notifications, in-app notifications, SMS messages, emails, sounds, vibrations, or other alerts depending on your settings and device permissions. Notifications may include request invitations, watcher responses, AI agent responses, attention-tagged messages, reminders, account security alerts, or service updates. You may manage notification settings in the app or through your device settings. Some critical account or security messages may still be sent even if marketing notifications are disabled.

13.     Safety, Emergency, Medical, Legal, and Financial Disclaimer

WatchFor is NOT an emergency response service. Do not rely on WatchFor as a substitute for:

• Calling emergency services
• Medical care or professional health advice
• Legal advice
• Financial advice
• Security monitoring by licensed professionals
• Childcare, eldercare, or professional supervision

If there is an emergency or immediate danger, contact local emergency services directly. Any health, safety, financial, stock, price, legal, or other information provided through WatchFor is for awareness purposes only and should be independently verified.

14.     Camera, Video, Location, and Connected Sources

Some WatchFor features or AI agents may connect to authorized cameras, video streams, location data, websites, feeds, APIs, or third-party services. You may only connect or monitor sources that you own, control, or are legally authorized to access.

You agree not to use WatchFor to unlawfully record, monitor, track, identify, or surveil people or places. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws relating to consent, privacy, audio/video recording, security cameras, workplace monitoring, household monitoring, and location tracking.

15.     Payments, Credits, Rewards, and Subscriptions

WatchFor may offer free and paid features, including subscriptions, credits, rewards, AI agents, third-party agent access, premium notifications, or other paid functionality. If payments, credits, rewards, micropayments, or subscriptions are enabled, additional payment terms may apply. Unless stated otherwise:

• Purchases may be final and non-refundable.
• Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled.
• App store billing rules may apply.
• WatchFor may change pricing or features with notice where required.

Credits, rewards, or points may have no cash value unless WatchFor expressly states otherwise.

16.     Third-Party Services

WatchFor may integrate with third-party services such as app stores, payment processors, messaging platforms, AI providers, cloud services, camera systems, news APIs, pricing APIs, product sources, or SaaS platforms. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. WatchFor is not responsible for third-party services, data accuracy, outages, changes, fees, or content.

17.     User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to WatchFor, including requests, responses, chats, images, videos, profile information, saved lists, and other materials (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant WatchFor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, analyze, transmit, and use the content as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Services. You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit and share your User Content.

18.     Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use WatchFor to:

• Violate any law or regulation
• Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or exploit another person
• Monitor someone without proper consent or legal authority
• Share private information without permission
• Create false, misleading, or deceptive requests
• Impersonate another person or organization
• Upload harmful, abusive, illegal, discriminatory, or infringing content
• Send spam or unwanted invitations
• Abuse shared links or public request features
• Interfere with app security, infrastructure, or other users
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Services
• Use AI agents for unlawful surveillance or unauthorized profiling

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access for violations.

19.     Intellectual Property

WatchFor, including its name, logos, designs, software, workflows, interfaces, AI agent marketplace concepts, documentation, and related content, is owned by WatchFor, Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from WatchFor without written permission.

20.     Feedback

If you provide ideas, suggestions, bug reports, feedback, or feature requests, you grant WatchFor the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

21.     Account Deletion

You can delete your WatchFor account within the app from App Settings > Account > Delete Account menu option, or request deletion of your account at https://watchfor.com/account-deletion. Deleting your account may remove or disable access to your profile, requests, watcher lists, chats, saved lists, and related data, subject to legal, security, backup, fraud prevention, or operational retention needs. Some information shared with other users may remain visible to them, such as prior chat messages, request history, or notifications already received.

22.     Community Standards / Content Moderation

• Users can block and report watchers within the app who are responding to their requests inappropriately including but not limited to their responses, chats, shared links, attachments.
• Users can choose to ignore requests from others if it contains any objectionable content and report by submitting a support request within the app.
• WatchFor may review and remove objectionable content.
• WatchFor may suspend users who misuse the app.
• Child exploitation, threats, stalking, harassment, hateful content, and non-consensual monitoring are strictly prohibited.
• Users can report inappropriate content, users, watchers, requests, chats, attachments, or shared links within the app or by submitting a support ticket within the app.

23.     Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to WatchFor if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your use creates risk or legal exposure
• Required by law or platform rules
• Necessary to protect users, systems, or data

You may stop using WatchFor at any time.

24.     Disclaimer of Warranties

WatchFor is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and error-free operation. We do not guarantee that:

• A watcher will respond
• An AI agent will detect every event
• Alerts will be delivered in real time
• Information will be accurate or complete
• Third-party sources will remain available
• The app will be uninterrupted or error-free

25.     Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WatchFor and WatchFor, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, missed alerts, false alerts, delayed responses, third-party actions, or reliance on information provided through the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to WatchFor during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

26.     Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WatchFor, Inc., and their officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and licensors from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of WatchFor
• Your requests, responses, chats, or User Content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of law or third-party rights
• Your unauthorized monitoring, sharing, or use of third-party data

27.     Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of WatchFor after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

28.     Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
